Geranium wilfordii is a PERENNIAL growing to 0.6 m (2ft). The species is hermaphrodite (has both male and female organs) and is pollinated by Insects. Suitable for: light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils. Suitable pH: mildly acid, neutral and basic (mildly alkaline) soils. It can grow in semi-shade (light woodland) or no shade. It prefers moist soil.

Antirheumatic Antiseptic Astringent Dysentery The aerial parts of the plant are antirheumatic, antiseptic and astringent[176]. It is used to improve the circulation, strengthen the bones and tendons[218]. The plant is used in the treatment of acute and chronic rheumatalgia, diarrhoea, dysentery and enteritis[176, 218]. The plant has also shown antibacterial action against Staphylococcus aureus, streptococci, Pneumococci, Shigella flexneri etc[176].
